Recently an aspiring scientist from Varanasi has invented a ‘lipstick gun’ that will not only trigger off an explosion like sound, but also it will send a distress signal to police emergency number. It would be a perfect security gadget for women.
According to a report published in The Times of India, Shyam Chaurasia, had fitted an additional socket into the normal lipstick cover. He said, “If any woman is caught into an unwanted situation, she can simply press the button. This will trigger a loud explosion like sound and also it will immediately send a message to police emergency number. Usually females carry a lipstick with them, so no one would doubt on the equipment.”
The lipstick gun is chargeable and is connected to the mobile phone through blue tooth. Chaurasia said that it took him one month to make the gadget which costs around Rs 600. He is planning to get the patent for the device.
As India is still struggling with the safety issue of a woman, these kinds of innovations will definitely increase the confidence of a female. This gadget will help them to feel secure even if they are alone.
