It has always seen that men shows more interest in women issues and their health. Be it out of curiosity or concern, that is another thing. According to the latest findings by a healthtech firm, released on Thursday, Men in North India appear to be more concerned and aware of women’s health and wellness matters.

Singapore based health tech start-up Vivant, has made a health app Nyra, which revealed this fact. By studying the domestic usage patterns, the app shows that there are 18.3 percent male users and 81.7 percent female users on the app.

North India is ahead

South India always rules when it comes to studies, but in app usage they are far behind from North India. The app Nyra found that 43 percent of their total user base comes from North India and 30 percent hail from South India. 

What does the app do?

The app Nyra helps track lifestyle and physical activity of females, their moods, ovulation, fertility and the app also tracks their periods. It has lot more features dedicated to women health.

Findings of the app

According to an official release from Vivant, 34 per cent users have been visiting the app to try and conceive, 22 per cent to track their periods, and 24 per cent visit the app to avoid pregnancy. It helps women to keep their health up to date. 

The insights further disclosed that, although 67 per cent of the app user base witness regular periods, while 33 per cent suffer from irregular periods, which includes women from the millennial 18-35 age group, as hectic lifestyles and fast-paced lives take a toll on their bodies.
